Heaven is for Real

Wow! What a book! Angela gave it to me on Sunday to read... One nite Curt wasn't feeling good, so he went to bed and I stayed up on the couch and read. I read for 2 hours and got to a chapter and HAD to stop. It's about 2 sisters. It talks about the mom who had a miscarriage, and the little boy, okay, I am jumping the gun here.
This little boy is basically dying from a ruptured appendix. Once he goes into surgery, he leaves his body and goes to Heaven. Sometime after the surgery the little boy says something to catch the parents attention. They finally figure it all out and realize that the little boy went to Heaven. The little boy talks so much about Heaven and how grand and awesome it is! That Jesus is just HUGE, but he is FILLED with soooo much LOVE! There is WAY more, but I don't even want to talk about it, you NEED to read this book!!!!! Anyways, so back to where I HAD to stop... The mom had a miscarriage and the 2 kids didn't know about it. One day he was talking about his sister, and the mom mentioned something and the little boy said, no, the one in heaven. It just touched me so much, (I know I am not even doing this book justice!), but my point is, I've always wondered about my baby. I didn't know the sex of my baby, I don't know if my baby is grown, will I REALLY recognize my baby? But the boy saw his sister and KNEW it was his sister. His sister didn't have a name because they didn't know the sex of their baby either. But since they didn't name the baby, the baby didn't have a name. I know, I am rambling...

The boy also got to SEE Jesus and knows what he looks like! But since he was so little, he really couldn't say what was wrong with all the Jesus pictures out there! His parents would ask, does this look like Jesus? The boy would say no.. Then finally one day the dad heard about the little girl who had visions from God and would paint those visions. One of her paintings is of Jesus. They asked their little boy if this looked like Jesus and his eyes just lit up and said yes, it really looked like Him! I remember hearing about this girl a while ago... Akiane Kramarik is her name...

(won't let me post a video, so will do it in another blog.. ;))
Here she talks about it a bit more. She does it in better words than I can...

But I keep thinking about the Angel I saw over my dad when he was in the hospital, the day before he died. The Angels eye were the SAME exact green as what this girl paints Jesus' eyes. He was filled with light and love. He was HUGE, but not scary, even though he was the angel of death. He was the one who took my dad to be in that beautiful place called Heaven.

I can NOT wait til it's my turn! I want to see God, I want to see those beautiful colors that we don't even know about! I want to see my baby and my dad and those other loved ones! I don't want to get comfortable here, but I want to tell others so that they will have the chance to get to Heaven as well, because Heaven is for REAL, there is NO doubt about that!

Comments

Wow! I definitely want to read this. I'm guessing it's based on a true story? I also lost a baby. Halfway through my pregnancy I was in a bad car accident and the baby didn't make it. I found out the next day that it was a boy. But I know he's in heaven. I just wonder the same things as you though...will he still be a baby, or grown? I guess we won't know until it's our time. If you enjoyed that book, then you may also enjoy Embraced by the Light by Betty J. Eadie. She also has a second book: The Awakening Heart, also great. It's all about how she died and also experienced heaven and meeting loved ones beyond this life. Thanks so much for this post and I will let you know when I get around to getting that book! I can't wait to read it after hearing your review of it.

Whew...

written 4-7-18 Wow! It's been a while since I"ve blogged...  Crazy fun times around here!  :) We had a BIG EVENT for our church Friday night.  It was awesome!!!  All about where we are and what we need to finance our new church building we are building!  We were to take a card and pray about a number and donate for the building fund.  It was a FANTASTIC awesome night to say the least!!! Curt and I have been praying about a number that God wants us to give.  We both feel a number, we can't afford.  haha...  We really can't afford anything because we still have 2 adoption credit card bills we are paying off.  God has blessed us and given us what we need each month.  But we want to give, and adding it up and looking at our budget and writing it all out, it's not there.  Nothing is there!  But that's the way it was with adoption!  We took that step of faith! So that was Friday...  Saturday morning went to kettle bell class and I died...  I honestly haven&#

Ultrasound

First of all, thank you ladies for all those sweet comments you made on my last post! How sweet you are for saying those things! Made my day!!! :O) Second, went for the ultrasound on Monday and everything is fine! WHOO HOO!!!!! No more placenta previa!!!! The baby weighs about 2 1/2 lbs, and everything looks good! We took the kids with us so they could see their baby brother/sister, they LOVED it!! Gavin was FULL of questions though! What's that stuff she put on mommy's belly? Why do the lights needs to be off? I only see one eye. Where's the other eye? What was that, is that his hand or leg? Oh my.... ;o) The tech ended up putting up a 4D on the screen, so that was really cool to see! The cord was kinda in the way, but I still think it was awesome! I didn't have that with any of the other kids!!! :O) Maybe the trick is taking 3 other siblings in to see the 4th!!! ;o) I also only gained a pound, which I am trying to figure out, seeings how I pretty m

Grandma

Grandma passed away this morning at 1:35 am. She had been totally un-responsive for the past couple of days. Yesterday we got a call and said she only had an hour, they said they made the mistake and grandma heard them, so she kept hanging on! Her feet had been cold and almost black, but they were starting to get warm and she was taking more breaths, but still very shallow. Finally she gave in and went home! The family seems to be doing ok, just please keep them in your prayers! The viewing will be Sunday and the funeral on Monday. I am not sure of the times yet, they are meeting with the funeral director in an hour. I am not going to be at the musical practice Monday nite, so Sandy May and Jena R are in charge that nite! I will have the lines assigned so the kids will know what their parts will be! Please help them out this week!!!! Thank you!!!! Thanks again for all of your prayers!!!!
