Yesterday was Curt's start of the Jordan Creek store re-lo. I got to make supper for them and thought I would get some stuff from Wal*Mart for today's lunch. So I made sloppy joes yesterday for them. (Did I mention that I am cooking for about 25 people???) Yesterday morning though I went into Wal*Mart to order the food, I got there at 11:05, I needed to be able to pick it up by 11:30 today. So I go up to the counter and ask if I can order some food to be picked up tomorrow at 11:30, the lady said, uh hunny, you needed to be in here by 10:00 or 10:30 if you want to pick it up by 11:30 tomorrow. I am like, are you kidding? I've done this before where I go in the day before, the same time as I did yesterday, and was able to pick up the food! SO... Now I get to make the lunch as well. I am going to make the Amish version of Yumzetti, it has the cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup instead of the tomatoe soup. So, gotta go do some school with Dakotah, then start cooking the noodles, take it over to the new store, eat, bring it back home, get one more thing for Curt for his birthday, get the stuff to make a cake for him (gonna make an ice cream cake! YUMMY!!!!), then have to find something for supper, then showers and bed. PLUS, I have to get 3 more loads of laundry done today too! It seems like when there is laundry to be done, a GAZILLION other things need to get done as well! Doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day! Oh well.... Guess I better get moving if I want to get everything done! HA HA HA!!!!
Wow, this has seriously been an eventful week! Starting off with the whole fabric softener mis-hap, which you can read on here if you didn't see or hear about it! Then Curt left Monday nite, Tuesday, well, it was ok, we had mom's group and the kids were acting up a bit, but nothing too bad... Then Wednesday I had a meeting at the church... It started out ok, the meeting wasn't long at all! Gavin came into the room and said he wanted to go play outside on the playground. I told him no, because I couldn't see him. I said, what if someone came by and picked you up and grabbed you and took you somewhere? Mommy would never see you again and I would be soooo sad! I said, I can't see you, so you need to stay inside. Well, not more than 3 minutes passed and Kotah comes up to me and says, uh, mom, Gavin is trying to go outside. So, I get up, go over to him and talk. I asked him what is he doing? he says, I WANT to play OUTSIDE! I said, bubby, I can't see you, so you can...
