Like I said in my first blog, I have been blogging for quite some time on my MYSPACE, I decided to post some of the older ones on here. Plus I told a little about this to Dara and she said she HAD to hear the whole story!!! So here ya go.... (This happened in Feb 2007)
Ok, just got done giving Gavin his bath, and then started to help Dakotah with her shower. I notice that it is quiet in our room, but don't think to much about it. About 5 minutes have passed and I am done with Dakotah, help her out, tell her to dry off. I go into our room and see what Gavin is doing. I see him sitting on our bed with a PERMANENT marker, and he has black on his face. I go over and ask what he is doing and before I could even ask, he gives me the marker. I am not to sure where the marker came from, but then see Curt's briefcase on the floor and open. Curt says he hasn't been able to find that stupid marker, but Gavin just opens the case and finds it! :O Anyways, we get our pictures of his face, then I try to figure out how to get it off. First thing that comes to mind is nail polish remover. It works, but his skin started breaking out, so I stop that. I call my mom and ask her, she doesn't really know, except eye makeup remover. I try that, but it doesn't work all that well. I call Curt's mom and she isn't home! :O( So I told Curt to Google it, and all kinds of things came up, sandpaper (who would do that to their face??? or their baby's face??), turpentine, nail polish remover, just to list a few, but the one thing that worked, Mr Clean Magic Erase dry pad. I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! It worked AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was just a hint of black on his face, but if I took him out, nobody would've been able to tell. I knew because it happened... That pad also works GREAT for taking out crayon on hard wood floors. ;O)
