Here is another old one from my MYSPACE!!! This was Dec 11th, it was a Monday.....
Oh my! Where do I start??? :O) Today was a VERY fun day! I think this one is better than the egg day!! :O) I dunno, you tell me! Curt left early today to get his traveling started, won't be back til Thursday! Although right now I am praying he will be home tomorrow! I know that won't happen, but I can still hope and pray, right?I put Gavin and Dakotah down for their naps... Gavin has not been so willing to go down some days, I even put him down later than normal because I could tell he wasn't tired. So, I am in the process of feeding Skylar cereal and trying to keep Gavin in bed. He finally settles down. Which is good, but I didn't go and actually check on him, JUST IN CASE he wasn't asleep, I would have to go through the whole fighting thing all over again, and I REALLY didn't want that. Dakotah wakes up first, then Gavin does, I am busy doing something else, so tell her she can go and get him. She screams MOM!!!!!!!! I said what? She comes running upstairs to find me, and say, Gavin, his diaper is off, pee EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I am like oh you've got to be kidding me!! I literally FLEW down the stairs, and sure enough, she was right! Gavin is sitting in bed with just his shirt, which is SOAKING WET and his socks too, and his diaper beside him, which is VERY dry! So, I get to do laundry and bath, yippee!!!! I am not sure if he understood me about not taking his diaper off, but oh my! So, that was my fun day! I keep telling myself he is a boy, and will do these kind of things, but why does he have to do them when Curt isn't home? I think he thinks of all these kinds of ideas and saves them for when Curt leaves! Take our Christmas tree for instance... :O) We've had it up since Dec 1st and it soooooooooooo does NOT look like it did that first day!! He takes the ornaments off the tree and stands back about 5 feet, and I SWEAR I can see him praying that the ornament in his hand will make it to the tree and stay. So after he prays, he CHUCKS the ornament back into the tree, and most times it does stay, and if it doesn't, he tries it again. So.... Are these normal things for a boy to do? :O) Oh well. I still love him, and I have sooooo many stories to put in his baby book!!!!!!! (I guess that is one good way to look at it! :O))
